There’s a moment on every New Zealand road where the light breaks across a ridgeline, the sea turns glassy, or a valley opens like a secret you’ve always known. Those are the moments I paint.

I’m a Havelock North based artist with a long-standing love for our landscapes and seascapes, Hawke’s Bay to Queenstown, east coast beaches to alpine passes.

My work is grounded in realism, with an emphasis on clarity, fine detail, and compositions guided by the golden ratio.
I’m equally drawn to more expressive pieces when the subject calls for rhythm and texture; sometimes that means mixed media, bold palette work, or even an unconventional tool or two to capture the right energy.
